Zhejiang Energy Supervision Office: Resolutely curb the occurrence of safety accidents in electrochemical energy storage power stations

China Energy Storage Network News: Recently, the Zhejiang Energy Supervision Office held a meeting of the Provincial Electric Power Safety Committee. At the meeting, special research and analysis were conducted on the safety situation of electrochemical energy storage power stations and the deep peak regulation of coal-fired units. Finally, the Zhejiang Energy Supervision Office put forward five requirements on the power safety risk management and control work:

First, the province's electric power enterprises must fully understand the extreme importance of work safety, deeply learn the lessons from accidents in the electric power industry across the country, resolutely overcome paralyzed thinking, and do a good job in all work of work safety;

The second is to attach great importance to the risk management and control of the safe operation of the power secondary system, further improve the safety management mechanism of the power secondary system, strengthen the technical supervision of each profession, the whole process, and the whole link, and comprehensively strengthen the management of hidden dangers in the secondary system;

The third is to conscientiously organize and study the "Twenty-five Key Requirements for Preventing Power Production Accidents (2023 Edition)" and other legal documents, strictly implement the relevant requirements of the documents, establish a long-term mechanism, and ensure safe, stable and orderly production;

The fourth is to attach great importance to the safety management of electrochemical energy storage power stations, conscientiously implement the relevant work requirements of the National Energy Administration, firmly shoulder the main responsibility of enterprises, improve the energy storage safety production guarantee system and supervision system, and resolutely curb the occurrence of safety accidents in electrochemical energy storage power stations .

The fifth is to actively promote the construction of deep peak-shaving capacity of coal-fired units, carry out the deep peak-shaving transformation of coal-fired units in stages and differentiated, improve the peak-shaving capacity of coal-fired units, promote the consumption of new energy, and ensure the stable operation of large power grids.
